eKWB 3.0 (planned for 2027)

New reality. New requirements. New generation eKWB.

The security policy situation has changed fundamentally. With rising global defense budgets and the massive expansion of the arms industry, it is not only production that is growing, but above all complexity. New types of war weapons such as drones, increasingly networked systems and international supply chains are presenting companies with challenges that can hardly be mastered with traditional solutions.

eKWB 2.3 (current version)

When systems become more complex, tools must become better

STARK Defense, SKD SE

The demands placed on companies have shifted significantly in recent years. The increasing diversity of variants and new types of war weapons, such as drones or modular systems, goes hand in hand with significantly more complex delivery and logistics structures. At the same time, the number of partners involved and international processes is increasing, while stocks and movements are becoming ever more dynamic.

The regulatory basis has been established since 2020 and companies are already reliably meeting the legal requirements. The real challenge today is to master this growing complexity in an efficient, secure and scalable manner.

The next generation: eKWB 3.0

With the new version, we are consistently developing the eKWB further, moving away from a pure documentation system towards an intelligent, data-driven platform for modern set-up processes. The new generation is designed not only to map increasing complexity, but also to actively structure it, automate it and make it manageable.

Whether classic weapon systems or new categories such as drones and autonomous systems, the software maps complex structures flexibly, consistently and future-proof. Even with increasing quantities, a growing number of variants and increasingly branched supply chains, you retain full control over your data, processes and inventories at all times.

At the same time, the platform is consistently designed for scalability. It grows with your requirements, from stable, established processes to highly dynamic production and logistics environments.

AI as a game changer

An optional component of the new version is the targeted use of artificial intelligence. The aim is not only to map complex processes digitally, but to actively simplify them. This involves the use of encapsulated, controlled AI that is specially designed to meet the industry’s security requirements and fulfills the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.

Intelligent assistance systems reduce manual input and provide users with targeted support. Automated suggestions speed up processing, while integrated plausibility checks and pattern recognition help to avoid errors at an early stage and increase data quality in the long term.

This results in faster, safer and significantly more efficient processes, even for complex procedures.
