The hardware used for the Ontaris Explosives Stock Book has been specially selected for harsh quarry or mine use. It is robust, waterproof and dustproof (protection class IP65 or higher) and very temperature resistant. When used with loose detonators, additional requirements are placed on the equipment used with regard to radiation and contact protection. Here we follow the recommendations of BAM, which has prepared a corresponding specification.
