A delivery note is always lost exactly when it is urgently needed, for example to prove a correct delivery. Or a customer has a query shortly after delivery, but the delivery note is not yet available. This can be very time and cost intensive.

Delivery note with the digital pen
In 2011, the company maxit Baustoffwerke GmbH from Krölpa was looking for a solution to manage the more than 200,000 annual delivery notes and at the same time to be able to better serve its customers. In addition, a uniform and central solution had to be found for the five plants concerned. This was solved with a digital pen, which writes on normal paper and at the same time digitizes the written text. After the delivery note is filled out on site, the data is sent via mobile phone to the central office for immediate further processing.
The Ffrisurbetriebe Kornet OHG provides hairdressing services in nursing and old people’s homes. The company relies on the digital pen EasyPen to record order, invoice and working time data. The employees on site use the digital pen, which digitizes handwritten form entries and forwards them to the company’s own accounting system via the mobile network. More than 600 digital pens are already in use at present.
